  2. SYMPTOMS. Signs may include near-fainting, dizziness and sometimes a flutter
  3. or palpitation in the chest. Rarely, there may be fainting and convulsions.
  4. CAUSES. Chronic heart disease or an overdose of heart drugs may cause the
  5. electrical activity that governs the work of the heart's pumping chambers to
  6. be slowed or interrupted.
  7. TREATMENT. If overdose, condition will be corrected when dosage is changed.
  8. .May require that a pacemaker be implanted.
