- SYMPTOMS. Signs may include near-fainting, dizziness and sometimes a flutter
- or palpitation in the chest. Rarely, there may be fainting and convulsions.
- CAUSES. Chronic heart disease or an overdose of heart drugs may cause the
- electrical activity that governs the work of the heart's pumping chambers to
- be slowed or interrupted.
- TREATMENT. If overdose, condition will be corrected when dosage is changed.
